So... what's the one thing I thought I'd never be reviewing? Probably sheets. That said, my wife and I decided to redo our bedroom, with new furniture, carpeting, and a new mattress.... and when buying the new mattress, we completely forgot why we weren't going to upgrade to a king size... all of our sheets and comforters were for queen size.Oops.So, with the new furniture on the way, we realized we needed new sheets.... after spending more time at rather large brand name stores, we realized 3 things.1.) King sized sheets are harder to find, and come in less options.2.) Holy COW the prices for King sized sheets were crazy.3.) We were going to buy our first set of 1000TC Egyptian Cotton sheets... just to see why the rest of the world is so gaga over them. After being unable to stomach spending the $300+ for a good 1000TC set, I decided we'd check on Amazon. After looking around, we decided to go with this brand, due to the amount of reviews, and positive responses. They showed up quickly, they were installed on the bed... and I have to admit, the first day, I took a nap on them, and thought.. 'meh.. not bad.. not great.. but not bad'... Keep in mind this was a 2 hour nap, on top of the sheets, after moving furniture all day long.So... when I went to bed, later that night, I wasn't all that excited about sheets... after all.. they're just sheets...Now, this is the part where things got weird. They're just sheets... right?*sigh* I'm forever ruined, now. After sleeping under the sheets all night.. I woke up the next morning, surprised.... it was 8am.. on a weekend.. and I was wide awake, refreshed and comfortable in bed.... and while I'm sure some of this had to do with the new mattress... there's 1 thing that I discovered... the sheets weren't hot... they weren't cold.. they were... neutral.I tend to run hot, and every set of sheets we've ever tried.. I wind up overly hot under them, and kick off the sheet and blankets during the night... But, there I was.... super comfortable.. at an hour I normally don't see on the weekends...When my wife woke up, about an hour later.. even she commented on how comfortable the sheets were. She wasn't cold, nor hot.. just.. comfortable.*sigh* Apparently after discussing it, we're planning on our next couple of purchases of the same sheets (different colors).... LOL... So much for the cheap $20-30 sheets.. I'm gonna be broke, it appears. The silver lining of this, is that these sheets are awesome, and their price is amazing compared to other 1000TC sets of sheets you'll find in stores.Seriously, give them a shot.. if I can be made to be a believer in what I was missing.. you can too :)I have used these sheets for about 6 months and I am very pleased. They are somewhat less soft than I expected, and tend to wrinkle more than I like. They are smooth. The plain fact is that cotton wrinkles. Overall I am very pleased. These are some of the finest cotton sheets that I have ever owned! If its 1000 thread count it has to be 8 pounds and above in weight for a queen size sheet set, they are 8.5. They are top notch sheets with amazing craftsmanship and amazing packaging. I just bought 4 more sheets in different colors.Thank you thread spread for giving us world class sheets at such an amazing price.Super nice sheets! Evaluating sheets is very personal. To each his own you might say. But I love these sheets. I wanted sheets that were thick, warn and comfortable. These sheets check all three criteria. Are they buttery soft, no, but they are comfortable and soft enough for me. I would give them a 7.5 for softness on a 10 point scale. Another plus, excellent long length on the flat sheet. No more having to give up sheet for covering yourself on the top half. They washed nicely and didn't wrinkle badly at all straight out of the dryer and I do not baby my sheets with special washing and drying. I want to be able to throw them in the wash, dry them, put them on the bed or fold till needed. These are definitely sheets for the fall and winter as the 1000 thread count is evident when you crawl in bed, so thick and comfy. I just received my first pair a week ago and just purchased another set today. I really like these and they are worth the price for me. The only reason I would update this review is if they fell apart for some reason and I just don't see that happening. So, I am a happy customer. NOTE: The only thing this company could do to improve on this set is offer it in a wider range of colors. The product would have been great but they appeared to have got wet and rust stain had gone all the way through on the sheets. They also had black grease marks on them. I’m sending them back. They look horribleI thought the sheets were soft, but they definitely got softer after I washed them. They do wrinkle. They are made well and are very durable. I feel like these sheets will last a long time, as well as, get even softer over time. Really recommend these sheets! Worth the money ?I love the color, the weave and the heft. It's got weight but not too heavy to handle. It's not advertised to be wrinkle-free, but the texture is such I have found it does not need ironing. Just don't leave it in the dryer after it's dry. It could be softer, but it's a duvet cover, I have a sheet and a blanket underneath, so I haven't found it's texture a problem.By far the best sheets I've ever used so far. The comfort and softness is unmatched. I used to wake up 5-6x in the night from itching but since these sheets, I've had 7/7 wakeless nights- super pleased to say the least. Yesterday we washed it once for the first time and it came out the dryer wrinkle free as of the cleaning. I'm a big stickler on non-wrinkle sheets so this definitely checks the box. This will be my go-to brand for bed sheets moving forward- I don't see myself using anything else.Extremely thin and cheap feeling. Pillow cases never stay on as they seem to be on the smaller side. Do not believe these are really 1000 thread count. Would not recommend.I have used 1000 Egyptian Cotton Sheets for years-the ones sent me are not 1000 thread count. They are coarse and a rip off. The bag they came in did not even disclose any thread count let alone 1000...never buy from this company again! To be honest I would not have rate the above even 1!Nice color. But I would have preferred a smoother fabric that does not crease easily. These are lovely sheets, soft and comfortable. They fit the bed perfectly. Vertical elastic at the fitted corners takes up any extra fabric from the deep pocket, while they are very easy to slip over the mattress. Further, they arrived right on time. After receiving our sheets, two sets to be exact, two months later and a couple of washes have noticed little cotton balls forming. 1000 thread count sheets should not be doing this after two months!
