The material isn't as thin as some but it not as soft as sheets that are NOT 100% cotton.The sheets are soft, silky and beautiful! I do love the way the sheets feel. My only complaint is the way that the fitted sheet fits the mattress. I have a 14 inch adjustable bed. The corners fit very tightly but, they do not cover the bottom of the mattress at the sides without the aid of elastic mattress grips. That being said, these sheets are luxuriously soft and beautiful with a luminous sheen appearance. I bought the silver colored sheets. I was very conflicted after reading the many negative reviews about the texture of the sheets being rough, comparing them to sandpaper or burlap. I myself did not find this to be accurate at all! One review said the sheets were so thin that one could see their own hand through the sheet. Again, I myself did not find this to be true. I think these are excellent sheets, of high quality beautiful fabric. The sheets do not quite live up to the deep pocket statement. The package states that the fitted sheet fits mattresses up to 17 inches deep. In my expierience, I feel that it would best serve a mattress up to 12 inches deep.However, with the aid of elastic mattress grippers, I will keep these beautiful, soft and silky sheets and enjoy them quite happily!1) The sheets washed well. It's highly recommended to wash them because they come with an odor to them. I wash new sheets before using anyway.2) The package arrived without any wrapping or cover, which is a huge disappointment because everyone can see the sheets. I was so shocked to see the sheets come in this plastic pouch that usually used for selling sheets in the store. Labels were slapped on them without any pouch or covering in spite of my specific request that it is to be put into a bag or box. Luckily, my sheets came without any missing item. It's really a bad move by the seller. Sorry to say this.They are super soft and didn’t wrinkle but those annoying little balls came too quick. Plus so with tow pillow cases we’re standard. Does anyone sleep with a king size pillow?I will order again. So incredibly comfortable. I was weary of ordering without actually feeling the material, but its awesome and I sleep so much better. Thank you!!!I ordered these sheets for our camper short queen bed. They came in a very timely manner and they were of great quality. I wish they were a tad softer but other than that, I would order from them again.I bought these for my daughter and her boyfriend, they love them! Lilac is her favorite color, they’re very soft and fit the tall mattress well.I washed and dryer my new sheets, removed promptly-full of wrinkles. Put them in the queen size bed, it was a struggle. It fitted bottom sheet barely went on mattress and it didn’t actually go on smoothly as desired, on each corner of the mattress the sheet sorbet puckers up. The top flat sheet minimally fits the mattress, the sides are very short. I am not very pleased with these sheets and would not recommend them.The thread count is advertised at 800 but I'm skeptical. The sheet are fine and look good we were expecting them to be more substantial.Not a glaring problem but a bit of a head scratcher.The fitted sheet doesn't go under the mattress by very much. I don't have an 18" mattress and the sheet just barely goes under the mattress. I love the feel of the sheets and the colour lilac but not the fit.After a couple of washes the sheets changed colours and look more of a dark pink and not lilac. The extra pillow slips that arrived a couple of weeks later, and supposedly matched the sheets, were lilac and didn't match at all.I received these sheets in great time. The colour is exactly what I'm looking for and they seem to be good quality.Upon first taking them out of the package, they are stiff and scratchy. Washing them once has improved their texture significantly, but still not anything worth more than three stars.I will wash them again soon and put them through a couple times. If the texture improves atthat point, I will update this review.The use of burlap sacks as pillowcases and sandpaper as bedding is a superior alternative to this "800 count Egyptian cotton".These short queen sheets fit well but I’m not so sure they are 800 thread Egyptian cotton. Quite scratchy after 2 washes hopefully they will relax with time
